Curbside Library Expanded

Thank you for the great response to Curbside Library. We have enjoyed seeing many of you and getting books, movies, and music to you through curbside pickup. We recently expanded the services offered and the hours.

Curbside Library hours are now Monday-Friday from 10-5 and Saturday from 10-2. In addition to picking up requested materials, you can also pick up printing, ask for copies, have something faxed, or bring a document to be scanned and emailed to you. We are also offering by appointment, one-hour checkout of laptops for use in the library parking lot.

HOW TO CHECK OUT Visit the library collection catalog online, call us at 319-753-1647, or let your library staff pick items to match your interests and tastes with a short Library2Go form. Once we have gathered and processed your requests, we will notify you that your items are ready.

Next, you’ll meet us at the front of the building to show us your library card or ID so we can match you with your items and process your information needs.

HOW TO FAX OR SCAN Email to or call us to let us know about scans and faxes you would like us to process. Staff will be waiting for you to bring your library card or ID so that can connect you with the necessary folders and information to process your requests.

HOW TO PRINT Email print requests to or call us to learn more about mobile printing through the mobile Princh app.

HOW TO PLACE A 1-HOUR LAPTOP RESERVATION Call the library at 319-753-1647 to reserve your spot. We’ll meet you at the Curbside Library window to connect you with your reservation. Please remember to bring your library card or ID connecting you with your library account.
